Earth Day Projects

For 2wks this month we did Earth Day projects. We checked out movies & books from the library to read & watch. The 1st week the weather was really nice so we spent alot of time outside. Bubbles, chaulk, & just walking around talking about what we seen.

This is cherioes on string, birdfeeder. The string is recycled, it was a loose string from an old bed sheet :-)

While posing for the pic, Max smelt the food & almost got it before we had a chance to hang it outside.

We planted some tomatoes, eggplant, watermelon, & sunflower seeds. I got this idea from a kindergarden teacher. Take some seeds wrap them in a wet papertowel, but them in a ziplock bag & put them in the window. Within a week you will have roots started & soon after be able to be transplanted. It totally works!!
